The re-enamelling process takes about 2 to 3 hours and all the products used are manufactured in South Africa. The process involves acid washing the bath to roughen it (etch), neutralising the acid, filling in chips or cracks and smoothing, masking and putting on primer, and applying 5 coats of bath epoxy. The refurbished bath, basin or toilet can be used in 24 hours.
